We are a gaggle of dolls belonging to a nerd. This is our blog. The gaggle is composed of:

Samantha - a Victorian Edwardian (according to forums we don't generally bother to read) girl from the 1900s. She was First Arrival so she's super old (she's known the human for about sixteen years!) and she falls over a lot.

Felicity - we're pretty sure Felicity was Second Arrival, but it's been so long that she might have been Third instead. She's stopped trying so hard to be a lady since most of the rest of us don't care. She's finally started wearing her own clothes rather than stealing the more modern ones. Her hair is frizzy but at least she doesn't fall over.

Addy - a freed slave from the 1860s. We think she was Third Arrival but there's a chance she might have been Second. The human fawns over her just as much as she fawns over Samantha. Addy's independent and opinionated, but surprisingly quiet unless we ruffle her feathers too much. She and Kirsten get along really well.

Madelaine - a modern girl (GT #9) and Fourth Arrival. When the human was younger she was called Sunshine, but later on it just didn't seem like her proper name. She was renamed Madelaine Sunshine - Evie usually calls her Maddie. She's a huge nerdy bookworm who was really quiet and kept to herself until Evie arrived. I guess she felt out of place being the only modern amidst a crew of historicals for a long time. Madelaine has a Yorkie named Arwen.

Kirsten - a Swedish immigrant from the 1800s. Kirsten was Fifth Arrival. She's a bit more of a troublemaker than the rest of us and she likes to sass people like no one's business. We tend to misspell her name a LOT. Evie believes she is a Pioneer Cyborg since she's developing silver eye.

Josefina - a Spanish girl from the 1800s. Josefina was Sixth Arrival who only recently saw the light of day because she was only around for about a year before we all got stuffed into trunks and put in storage for awhile. She's getting used to the world again. She really loves the outdoors because the human lives in her native state: New Mexico. She also barely ever talks to anyone besides Samantha.

Evie - the Seventh Arrival, a renamed Jess. Evie is loud, energetic, obnoxious, and has absolutely no taste or tact. She is Madelaine's best friend. She likes bright colors, bossing around the other dolls, and going on wacky adventures in her pajamas. She dislikes reading and people who don't appease her ego. Evie has a pug named Sid (short for Darth Sidious, of course).

Nellie - our Eighth Arrival, who joined us Christmas of 2007. She's supposed to be Samantha's best friend, but she's nothing like the girl Samantha remembers. She's strong-willed, articulate, and not all that impressed with the era she hails from. While she loves most of her historical stuff, Nellie also enjoys donning modern gear and going on wacky adventures with Evie or discussing nerdy literature with Madelaine. She gets along much better with the moderns than the historicals. She and Samantha share custody of their Cocker Spaniel, Poppy.

Luna - the Ninth Arrival, a revamped Elizabeth doll. Luna is dreamy, quirky, and an all-around weirdo. She likes conspiracy theories, going on adventures, and talking about things that don't exist. She tries very hard to educate the other dolls about the fantastical creatures and things in the world and doesn't understand why they're so jaded and closed-minded.

Darcy - the Tenth Arrival and another modern girl (JLY #26). Darcy's a bit of a hippie, a bit of a health nut, and a whole lot of no-nonsense. She's the only doll in the house who refuses to put up with Evie's temper tantrums and Evie secretly idolizes her a little bit for it. Darcy has a German Shepard named Dakota.
